MECCA-X 2025 SEASON FINISHES ON A HIGH!

What a way to finish the first full season for the newly-formed Mecca-X club. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has attended each meeting and supported the club in our first year. Your support doesn’t go unnoticed, and we are already looking forward to the 2026 season. We promise that there’ll be bigger and better things on the agenda! 👍

In the auto class it was Kodi Simon who took the overall win, with Hudson Tillman in 2nd place, followed by Lenny Newman in 3rd, Robert Frean and Luca Christie close behind.

The 65 class once again saw some top tier racing with Championship winner Roy Townley taking another overall victory. This time over Frankie Hargrave in 2nd place and Charlie Campbell in 3rd. 4th place was Louie Peet who was closely followed by Saul Herring and Vinnie Langstead.

Johnny Wright continued his winning streak in the small-wheel class by taking another overall and 3 wins at the final round. Levi Johnson took 2nd place and Ciaran Reene was 3rd. Vinnie Broadley was 4th in front of Harry Skillen in 5th, Jenson Borret in 6th and Taylor Dyer in 7th.

The big-wheels saw Jack Pettitt take home the overall Victory ahead of Riley Skillen in 2nd place, and Charlie Reeves behind him in 3rd. Ellis Mardell was 4th, Olly Borg 5th, Chloe Cordner 6th and Tommy Barfoot 7th.

In the Youth 125 class the racing was tight and the results quite unique, with both 1st and 2nd placed riders on equal points as well as 3rd and 4th! First was Freddie Saunders on 123 points, behind him in second was Arash Deering also on 123 points. Third place was Freddy Willet on 122 points with Luke Hodgson in 4th and  122 points. Fifth place was Reggie Willet and behind him in 6th, was Sonny Bixby.

In the Youth 250 class, Lenny Wright took the overall championship win, while Harry Farlam was the winner on the day. Lenny took two out of three wins over the weekend – enough for him to take his second overall victory this season. In 3rd place was Jayden Williams, with Daniel Charman behind him in 4th place and Oliver Rimmer in 5th. Maison Cory was in 6th.

In the Vets 35+ Steve Bixby took the overall on his CR500 machine, behind him was Ryan Matthews in second place. Third place was Rodger Frean on 118 points.

The Vets 50+ saw Darren Hansford take the win over Grant Byford in 2nd place followed by Jason Wood in 3rd.

In the Clubman C, Colby Corcoran took all three wins, with the #177 of Zak Christie in 2nd and 3rd Amy Goodland.

In the Clubman B group, Kurt Richardson took the win, Daniel Brown was second and in 3rd place was Scott Roberts.

Elite racing in the Clubman A between John Adamson and local lad Raife Broadley kept the crowd entertained. Adamson just managed to edge Broadley out of the win by taking two out of three race wins. Third place went to the Championship winner Levi Saunders, with 120 points.

A fantastic end to a new club and south east championship – here’s to 2026!
