The fourth round of the ever-evolving Mecca-X/X-Bladez Events Club Championship will take place in Kent on the superb Sellindge MX track over the weekend of the 21st and 22nd of June.
While wild card entries are accepted and race points awarded on the day, the Championship itself is reserved for Mecca-X club members and is a great example of one of the many benefits of membership.
As already outlined in previous newsletters, the 2-Stroke Festival is putting up a KTM 65cc and 85cc bike as a sponsored ride in 2026 for the top points scorers in both classes. Also, a selected rider in the adult and MXY2 classes will be loaned a DIRTSTORE 250 or 450 machine for 2026.
What’s more, our club is gaining recognition with the likes of the MXGB Junior British Auto Championship and the ACU Compass Cup Club Team Championship and we’re chuffed to be an integral part of both events.
We’re hosting three qualifying rounds for the MXGB Juniors in September, kicking off with our next round at Sellindge. We can put forward five 50cc riders for what is set to be one of the most esteemed events in the country but, you must be a Club member to be eligible for selection.
The Compass Cup is a Club Team Championship and Mecca-X will be out in force to feature heavily in the standings. More news on this soon, together with team selection – there will be no adult MX1 or MX2 riders, making this a great family event supporting grass roots racing.

Vets 35+ – Steve Bixby, 388 points.
Vets 50+ – Grant Byford 260 points.
